dc.description.abstractBackground and aim: Calcium phosphate-based bone substitute materials, also called calcium phosphate cements (CPCs), are widely used in orthopedic surgery. However, the reported results regarding the genotoxicity using these materials are inadequate in literature. We evaluated the DNA damaging effects of a CPC on peripheral mononuclear leukocyte cultures.
