It is known that postmenopausal period brings together many negative conditions in women with the advancing age. In this research, it was aimed to compare postmenopausal women with non-postmenopausal women of the same age range by evaluating fatigue severity levels and quality of life. Eighty patients between 40 and 65 years of age were experimented on in the research. Experimental group (which in postmenopausal women) and control group (non-postmenopausal) were divided into two groups of 40 people. The demographic information of the patients was recorded in the demographic information form prepared by the researcher. Severity levels of fatigue were recorded by Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS) and quality of life was assessed by the Nottingham Health Profile (NHP) survey. In the data analysis of the study, a Windows-based SPSS21 (Statistical package for the Social Sciences) analysis program was used. The statistical significance level was accepted as p<0,05. There was a significant difference between the two groups in terms of age, body mass index (BMI), presence of chronic illness, and regular medication usage parameters (p <0,05). Based on FSS results, there was no significant difference between the two groups (p> 0,05), but the results of fatigue evaluation showed that postmenopausal women were more fatigue. When the total score of NHP and subparameters were compared between the two groups, there were significant differences between the NHP total scores and the subscale scores of physical activity, sleep and emotional reactions (p <0,05). When the pain, energy and social isolation scores of the other subparameters of NHP were compared, there was no significant difference between the two groups (p> 0,05). In the experimental group, the FSS score and the age, BMI, number of pregnancies, number of births, NHP subparameters and NHP total score were examined. There was a statistically significant positive correlation between FSS score and the total score of NHP and the subparameters of NHP social isolation and emotional reactions (r=0,416, p<0,05; r=0,431, p<0,05; r=0,392 p<0,05). In the experimental group, the relationship between NHP total score and the age, BMI, number of pregnancies and births were examined. There was a significant positive correlation between NHP total score and the number of pregnancies and births (r=0,36, p<0,05; r=0,362, p<0,05). In the experimental group, the relation between menopause age and FSS and NHP scores, BMI, the number of pregnancies and births was examined. There was a statistically significant positive correlation between menopause age and BMI, the number of pregnancies and births ( r=0,421, p<0,05; r=0,454, p<0,05; r=0,415 p<0,05). As a result, postmenopausal women become fatigued and their quality of life decreases. The increase in fatigue severity in this period is related to quality of life. Decrease in physical activity level, sleep disturbances, negative changes in social isolation and emotional reactions affect the quality of life negatively.en
