Abstract
Çalışmamızın amacı, çocuk acil kliniğimize Covid-19 pandemisi ve öncesinde yapılan başvuruları değerlendirerek hem Covid-19 pandemisinin acil servis işleyişini nasıl etkilediğini gözlemlemek hem de iki dönem arasındaki farkı ortaya koyarak çocuk acil servis planlamaları yapılırken bulduğumuz sonuçların da değerlendirmeye alınmasını sağlamaktır.Bu çalışmada 1 Mayıs – 31 Ekim 2019 ve 1 Mayıs – 31 Ekim 2020 tarihleri arasındaki 6 şar aylık iki dönemde Bezmialem Vakıf Üniversitesi Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı Çocuk Acil Kliniği'ne başvuran 0-18 yaş arası toplam 52675 hastanın tanıları, tetkik edilme durumları, triaj grupları ve epidemiyolojik özellikleri retrospektif olarak karşılaştırıldı.Her iki dönem birbiri ile karşılaştırıldığında acil servise başvuran olguların yaş grupları, başvuru saatleri, triaj, tetkik edilme ve tanı durumları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olduğu belirlenmiştir (p<0.05).
Description
The purpose of our study is to evaluate the Covid-19 pandemic and previous applications to our pediatric emergency clinic, to observe how the Covid-19 pandemic affects the functioning of the emergency room, as well as to reveal the difference between the two periods and to ensure that the results we find while planning the child emergency service are taken into consideration.In this study, the diagnoses and examinations of a total of 52675 patients aged 0-18 who applied to the Bezmialem Vakıf University Department of Pediatrics Emergency Clinic in two periods of 6 months between 1 May - 31 October 2019 and 1 May - 31 October 2020 , triage groups and epidemiological characteristics were compared retrospectively.When the two periods were compared with each other, it was determined that there was a statistically significant difference between the age groups, application times, triage, examination and diagnosis status of the patients who applied to the emergency service (p <0.05).
