As radiation side effects are increasingly better understood, more patients are being treated with surgery alone with varying outcomes. The authors previously reported that en bloc resection of a single brain metastasis was associated with decreased incidences of leptomeningeal disease and local recurrence compared with piecemeal resection. However, en bloc resection is often feared to cause an increased incidence of postoperative complications. This study aimed to answer this question.Publication Metadata only Treatment of high numbers of brain metastases with Gamma Knife radiosurgery: a review.(2016-04-01) Hatiboglu, MUSTAFA AZİZ; TUZGEN, S; AKDUR, K; CHANG, EL; HATİBOĞLU, MUSTAFA AZİZPublication Metadata only Evolution of Neurosurgical Treatment for Brain Metastases over the Last 15 Years: Experience at a Large Referral Cancer Center(2010-08-01T00:00:00Z) Hatiboglu, MUSTAFA AZİZ; SUKI, Dima; HASSANEEN, Wael; MCCUTCHEON, Ian E.; LANG, Frederick F.; PRABHU, Sujit S.; WEINBERG, Jeffrey S.; RHINES, Laurence D.; RAO, Ganesh; CHANG, Eric L.; DEMONTE, Franco; SAWAYA, Raymond E.; HATİBOĞLU, MUSTAFA AZİZPublication Open Access Can COVID-19 induce glioma tumorogenesis through binding cell receptors?(2020-11-01T00:00:00Z) Khan, I; Hatiboglu, MUSTAFA AZİZ; HATİBOĞLU, MUSTAFA AZİZPublication Metadata only SEREVİKAL EKSTRADURAL APSELERİN ETKENLERİ,RADYOLOJİK ÖZELLİKLERİ VE CERRAHİ SONUÇLARI:5 OLGULUK SERİ(2017-04-02) ABDALLAH, ANAS; OFLUOĞLU, ALİ ENDER; ÖZEK, ERDİNÇ; GÜNEŞ, MÜSLÜM; TEKİN, ABDURRAHİM; HATİBOĞLU, MUSTAFA AZİZ; SEYİTHANOĞLU, MEHMET HAKAN; GÜNDAĞ PAPAKER, MELİHA; KİTİŞ, SERKAN; DÜNDAR, TOLGA TURAN; ASİLTÜRK, MURAT; EMEL, ERHAN; TEKİN, ABDURRAHIM; HATİBOĞLU, MUSTAFA AZİZ; SEYİTHANOĞLU, MEHMET HAKANPublication Metadata only C6 Glioma Hücre Kültüründe Timokinonun Etkileri(2017-09-23T00:00:00Z) ŞİŞMAN, BEHİCE HANDE; GÜLER, ERAY METİN; KOÇYİĞİT, ABDÜRRAHİM; HATİBOĞLU, MUSTAFA AZİZ; ŞİŞMAN, BEHİCE HANDE; GÜLER, ERAY METİN; KOÇYİĞİT, ABDÜRRAHİM; HATİBOĞLU, MUSTAFA AZİZPublication Metadata only Fare Melanoma Beyin Metstazı Modelinde Timokinon’xxun PSTAT-3 inhibisyonu Aracılığıyla Apaptozu Artırak Etki Göstermesi(2017-03-29) HATİBOĞLU, MUSTAFA AZİZ; Koçyiğit, Abdurrahman; GÜLER, ERAY METİN; Akdur, Kerime; ÖZEK, ERDİNÇ; TÜZGEN, SAFFET; HATİBOĞLU, MUSTAFA AZİZ; GÜLER, ERAY METİNPublication Metadata only Thymoquinone Enhances the Effect of Gamma Knife in B16-F10 Melanoma Through Inhibition of Phosphorylated STAT3(2019-01-01) HATİBOĞLU, MUSTAFA AZİZ; KOÇYİĞİT, ABDÜRRAHİM; GÜLER, ERAY METİN; Akdur, Kerime; Khan, Imran; Nalli, Arife; Karataş, Ersin; TÜZGEN, SAFFET; HATİBOĞLU, MUSTAFA AZİZ; KOÇYİĞİT, ABDÜRRAHİM; GÜLER, ERAY METİN; KHAN, IMRANBACKGROUND: Patients with brain metastasis from melanoma have a dismal prognosis with poor survival time. Gamma Knife (GK) is an effective treatment to control brain metastasis from melanoma. Thymoquinone (TQ) has emerged as a potential therapeutic option due to its antiproliferative effects on various cancers. The purpose of the study was to assess the effect of GK on B16-F10 melanoma cells in vitro and intracerebral melanoma in vivo, and its synergistic effect in combination with TQ.Publication Metadata only Factors influencing the risk of local recurrence after resection of a single brain metastasis.(2010-08-01T00:00:00Z) PATEL, AJ; SUKI, D; Hatiboglu, MUSTAFA AZİZ; ABOUASSI, H; SHI, W; WILDRICK, DM; LANG, FF; SAWAYA, R; HATİBOĞLU, MUSTAFA AZİZ
