Abstract
Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is a variety of chronic lymphoproliferative disorders. It is characterized by a progressive accumulation of monoclonal incompetent lymphocytes and is similar to peripheral B-cell neoplasm small lymphocytic lymphoma [1]. Although leukaemic infiltration of the kidney is relatively common in CLL, acute renal failure (ARF) due to leukaemic infiltration is extremely rare [2]. Herein, we report a patient who presented with ARF caused by leukaemic infiltration of the kidneys in previously nonexistent CLL and was treated with chemotherapy successfully
