The effect of breast conserving treatment in local recurrence and survival rates for the patients who have multicentric breast cancer is still controversial. In our study, we intended to evaluate the foresight of 84 miRNAs which are identified in breast cancer for having differentiated expressions. Thirty-one patients with unifocal and 26 patients with multicentric breast cancer were included in this study. These tissue samples of both malignant and normal breast tissues were kept in RNA later solution at -80 degrees C. Eighty-four miRNAs were studied with miScript miRNA PCR Array Human Breast Cancer kit. Fold change, cut off value was accepted as four. In unifocal group, there were 13 upregulated and five downregulated miRNAs and in multicentric group, there were three upregulated and seven downregulated miRNAs. To reach better results for breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, it is important to enlighten tumor biology, and pay attention to target and individual therapy. Thus, miRNAs have potential role in identifying tumor characteristics in supporting diagnosis and resulting with better evaluated disease for better treatment results with individual strategies.Publication Metadata only Effect of pre-operative red blood cell distribution on cancer stage and morbidity rate in patients with pancreatic cancer.(2014-09-15T00:00:00Z) ŞENTÜRK, H; YILMAZ, A; Malya, FATMA ÜMİT; OZTURK, G; CITGEZ, B; OZDENKAYA, Y; ERSAVAS, C; AGAN, A; KARATEPE, O; MALYA, FATMA ÜMİT; ŞENTÜRK, HAKANPublication Metadata only A novel reconstruction method for giant incisional hernia: Hybrid laparoscopic technique.(2015-10-01) OZTURK, G; Malya, FATMA ÜMİT; ERSAVAS, C; OZDENKAYA, Y; BEKTASOGLU, HÜSEYİN KAZIM; CIPE, G; CITGEZ, B; KARATEPE, O; MALYA, FATMA ÜMİT; BEKTAŞOĞLU, HÜSEYİN KAZIMPublication Metadata only Helicobacter pylori is undetectable in intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm(2016-09-01) BAYSAL, Birol; Ince, ALİ TÜZÜN; Gucin, ZÜHAL; Malya, FATMA ÜMİT; TOZLU, Mukaddes; Senturk, HAKAN; BAĞCI, PELİN; Celikel, Cigdem Ataizi; Gultepe, Bilge; OZKARA, Selvinaz; PASAOGLU, Esra; DURSUN, Nevra; OZGUVEN, Banu Yilmaz; TUNCEL, Deniz; İNCE, ALİ TÜZÜN; SÜMBÜL, BİLGE; GÜCİN, ZÜHAL; MALYA, FATMA ÜMİT; ŞENTÜRK, HAKANBackground: About half of the world population is infected with Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), a bacterium associated with gastric cancer and considered to be a risk factor for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. Whether the bacterium is associated with intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm, believed to be a precursor of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, is unknown. The aim of this study was to investigate the presence of H. pylori DNA in tissue sections of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm.Publication Metadata only The Effects of Preoperative Endoscopic Tattooing on Distal Surgical Margin and Ileostomy Rates in Laparoscopic Rectal Cancer Surgery: A Prospective Randomized Study.(2016-08-01) CIPE, G; CENGIZ, MB; IDIZ, UO; YARDIMCI, ERKAN; Malya, U; FIRAT, D; MUSLUMANOGLU, M; YARDIMCI, ERKAN; MALYA, FATMA ÜMİTPublication Metadata only Impact of high amylase level in drainage fluid after gastric cancersurgery: Is it a complication or suspicious biochemical measurement?(2019-02-01) HASBAHCECI, Mustafa; CENGİZ, Merve Büşra; AKÇAKAYA, ADEM; MALYA, FATMA ÜMİT; KUNDUZ, ENVER; Bektaşoğlu, HÜSEYİN KAZIM; AKÇAKAYA, ADEM; MALYA, FATMA ÜMİT; KUNDUZ, ENVER; BEKTAŞOĞLU, HÜSEYİN KAZIMPublication Metadata only THE USE OF 18F-FLUORODEOXYGLUCOSE POSITRON EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY TO ASSESS CLINICAL OUTCOMES OF PATIENTS WITH BORDERLINE RESECTABLE PANCREATIC CANCER.(2016-04-01) DURMUS, A; YILMAZ, A; Malya, FATMA ÜMİT; OZTURK, G; BEKTASOGLU, HÜSEYİN KAZIM; ERTUGRUL, G; KARYAGAR, S; KARATEPE, O; MALYA, FATMA ÜMİT; BEKTAŞOĞLU, HÜSEYİN KAZIMPublication Metadata only Risk factors for readmission following colorectal cancer surgery(2017-01-01) HASBAHCECI, MUSTAFA; İDİZ, UFUK OĞUZ; CENGİZ, MERVE BÜŞRA; ÇİPE, GÖKHAN; MEMMİ, NAİM; MALYA, FATMA ÜMİT; MÜSLÜMANOĞLU, MAHMUT; AKÇAKAYA, ADEM; MEMMİ, NAİM; MALYA, FATMA ÜMİT; AKÇAKAYA, ADEM
