The state of the condition leads to upper airway impediment and compression of the esophagus. A balanced DAA is an extremely rare anomaly. The anatomical aberration cannot be easily diagnosed with echocardiography when an infant has chronic respiratory distress. Herein, we present the case of an 11-month-old girl who had chronic respiratory distress and a balanced DAA.
